The downloads page holds the published source material for X-Grid, as issued: the full technical and installation guide, the product guide with the panel specification and colour range, the printed case-study brochure, and the original independent test report. Between them they answer the three questions a specification actually rests on — what the panel is, how it is installed, and what the testing measured.
Nothing here is a re-written marketing version. The technical guide carries the panel data and every standard build-up; the case-study brochure documents real installations from domestic driveways to school car parks; the test report reproduces the laboratory result exactly as it was returned. If a number appears anywhere on this website, the document it came from is in this list.
How we publish
A download that has been quietly updated to match today’s claims is no longer evidence. The documents in this archive are published as they were written, so a figure quoted in a specification can be traced back to the exact page it came from. Where our guidance has moved on — a revised build-up, a clarified limit, a test repeated — the change is stated on the relevant page, not folded silently into an old file.
If you are specifying X-Grid and need a document in an editable or CAD-friendly format, or a written statement for a planning or building-control submission, the technical team can supply it. If a document in the archive appears out of date, tell us and it will be corrected in the open.
Using them well
A guide is only useful if it answers the question in front of you. Read the technical and installation guide in two passes: first the build-up sections, which tell you the layer order and the depths for your application, then the approval points, which tell you when the general guidance stops and a review begins. Read the product guide when you need the panel data and the colour range in one place, and the test report when a claimed figure has to be defended to somebody else.
The case-study brochure is the one people under-use. It shows the same build-up logic applied on real sites — a school whose grass parking became an all-weather surface, a holiday village whose caravan routes had churned to mud, a driveway that shed its gravel within a week — and each one names the installer and the outcome. If your project resembles one of those, the case study is usually the fastest way to see what was actually decided, layer by layer, rather than what the guidance assumes.
Keep the archive and the website side by side. Every figure on a page here traces back to a document in this list: the 428 t/m² compression result, the panel dimensions and depth, the recommended infill grades. When the two agree, the specification is on solid ground; when something looks inconsistent, tell the technical team and they will correct it in the open.
